Community service
The club’s community service work emphasizes education, literacy and disease prevention in Chicago. Its published project history includes CPS Opportunity Grants, the Dictionary Project, Chicago River cleanup activities and support for local community needs.
JOB1: a first workplace experience
JOB1 connects Chicago high school students with workplace preparation and summer internships. Employers and volunteers can contact the club about participation and current opportunities.
Education & scholarships
School grants and college scholarships are part of the club’s education work. Current application dates, eligibility and awards must be confirmed for each program cycle.
Youth leadership
The club describes youth service and leadership opportunities through EarlyAct, Interact, Rotary Youth Exchange and RYLA. Each program has its own age criteria and participation process.
International service
International work includes cooperation with Rotary Club Cochabamba in Bolivia and health-related projects. These relationships connect local knowledge with cross-border resources.
